Sourdough Tracker respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Your sourdough data, feeding records, settings, and preferences remain on your device. To understand how the App is used and improve it, we collect anonymous usage analytics: app opens, onboarding progress, which screens and features are used, logging activity (such as the fact that a feeding was logged), and subscription events (such as starting a trial or purchase). Along with these events we receive basic device context — a randomly generated identifier (not tied to your identity), device model, iOS version, app version, language, timezone, App Store country, and approximate location (country level, derived from your connection). We do not collect your name, email, precise location, contacts, or the contents of your feeding records. The names you give your starters never leave your device.

2. Your Data

All your starters, feeding history, and app settings stay on your device unless you manually share them. We do not have access to your records. Purchases are processed by Apple; we use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, which processes purchase information (such as transaction and product identifiers) on our behalf. To measure whether an install came from Apple's advertising, we use Apple's privacy-preserving AdServices framework — this involves no cross-app tracking and no advertising identifier. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

3. Optional Diagnostics

If you voluntarily email us logs, feedback, or screenshots, that information is used solely to respond to you and improve the App. We delete it once no longer needed.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the anonymous analytics described above are not tied to anyone's identity.

5. Data Security

Your records stay on your device, so their security depends on your device — keep it secure and up to date. Anonymous analytics are transmitted over encrypted connections and stored securely.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes become effective when posted inside the App or on our website. Continued use signifies acceptance.
