Skincare Routine respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Information We Handle

There is no account and no sign-up. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location. The app handles:

• Your skincare profile and routine data (skin type, concerns, goals, logs, notes) — stored locally on your device
• Photos you choose to capture (selfies for skin analysis, product label photos)
• Messages you send to the AI chat coach
• Purchase status (e.g., whether premium features are unlocked)
• A random, per-install identifier used only for anonymous cost and usage telemetry

2. How the AI Features Work

The app's AI features — skin analysis, the product scanner, the chat coach, and routine generation — are optional and turned off until you enable them. When you use an AI feature, the relevant input (your skincare profile, the specific photo, or your chat message) is sent through our processing service to third-party AI providers so a response can be generated.

This processing is transient: your photos and messages are used only to produce the result you asked for. We do not store them on our servers, and we cannot browse them. You can turn AI features off at any time in Settings.

3. Third-Party Services & Sub-processors

To deliver certain features we rely on the following providers, who process only what is needed for that feature:

• AI providers (DeepSeek, Google Gemini) — process the skincare profile, photos, and messages you submit to AI features to generate responses
• Open Beauty Facts — a public product database we query when you scan a barcode; we send only the scanned barcode
• RevenueCat & Apple — handle in-app purchases and subscription status
• Our processing service (hosted on Vercel) — relays AI requests and holds no user content at rest
